How Takeovers Work
WordPress Site Audit
Before we can assume control of your website, we need to conduct a thorough manual review of its design, code, and configuration for best practices. This step is crucial as it allows us to fully understand the site before taking on the responsibility of managing it.
Following the audit, we provide a detailed report of our findings, presented via a recorded, live screen share session. This session allows us to align on the current state of the website and serves as a low-commitment opportunity for us to get acquainted with each other’s processes and businesses. The report outlines a list of necessary action items and their associated costs, some of which are essential to meet Inspry standards and proceed with the takeover. Additionally, our team will examine any custom plugins or themes for best practices and security, ensuring we can confidently maintain the site’s code.
Audit Implementation
After we review the audit report and assess the effort required to update the website, the necessary action items outlined in the report must be approved for implementation. Once you approve the associated costs, our team will begin implementing these changes on a staging copy of your live website. After the changes are completed on the staging site, you can review them. Once you give your approval, we will schedule a date to implement the changes on the live site.
If your website needs to be migrated from your current hosting provider, we will also handle the hosting migration at this time. Migrating the site, especially for e-commerce stores or learning management systems, requires precise coordination to ensure uninterrupted availability for your users. Our team will manually re-implement the changes on the live site to ensure no data is lost during the process.

Once the audit implementation is finalized, we assume responsibility for WordPress support and management. This allows us to offer ongoing support and development services tailored to your business needs, ensuring we have full oversight of your site.
